Gender-Eve

So for the past 20 weeks we have been calling these babies "Thing 1 & Thing 2", but tomorrow that will end. Tomorrow they will be baby girls, or baby boys, or baby boy and baby girl! We have absolutely no preference, just give us healthy "things"!But.... I am thinking that we should get these outfits for Halloween:

I can't wait to start choosing names from our long list of maybe's and getting our nursery ready! Oh and I just starting watching Pregnant In Heels on Bravo. Hilarious! I can totally relate with some of the women! Ha!

Hope that we can sleep tonight!

5 WEEKS......AND COUNTING

So...... we started a renovation about five weeks ago that I thought would take no more than three weeks, but you know construction.....
Thank goodness we have "Resort RoRo" as Lynn likes to call it. Lynn's mom lives about ten minutes away from our house, so we have been camping out with her. I'm hoping we haven't driven her too crazy! I have just about eaten her out of house and home, and Fletcher..... well..... has been Fletcher. Even though we have enjoyed hot meals and the comfort of her home, we are ready for our casa.
But on a much more exciting note, I have one week of school left before summer break- and to top that off- we find out the sex of the babies next Thursday! Exciting week!

Hail State!

Lynn and I went to the "Road Dawg Tour" on Thursday night. We mingled with fellow Bulldogs and enjoyed hearing about the future of our alma mater. Dan signed a few pictures for us. He even signed one for our "Future Bulldogs". Can't wait for football season!! Go STATE!

Busy Weekend

Where does the weekend go???? We were so busy that it seems like a blur. First of all, as of Friday, I am 17 weeks preggo! We will find out the sex of the babies in just three weeks! Can't wait! Saturday we started off our day with the Junior League's 5K For Kids. This was a race to raise awareness for childhood obesity. Not only did I want to support the Junior League, I wanted to support the cause. I walked the race with my friend who is also pregnant and due in August. Here are a few pics from the event:

We went to a wedding on Saturday night. A friend from college got married- they were just the sweetest couple. We had a great time!

Happy belated Mother's Day to all of the mothers out there! Lynn and I have been blessed with amazing mothers. I wasn't able to get down to my parent's house this weekend, so.... my mom came to me, along with my Granny! But before I got to visit with two of my most favorite people in the world, we had a little bit of a scare. I won't go into all of the details....but let's just say I spent a few hours in the hospital. Lynn decided it would be cute to take a pic of me while I was waiting to be seen.

I didn't think it would be appropriate to smile...

I wasn't the only person who needed to see a dr. L. T. somehow hurt his knee over the weekend. He hobbled all the way to the hospital.

We are hoping it's nothing too serious! :)

It was an eventful weekend.... to say the least!

Hello Blog World!

I have been wanting to start a blog for awhile now, but really didn't know if I was interesting enough to do it! I absolutely love to read blogs! I love keeping up with old friends that I haven't seen in years or just reading about a random stay-at-home mom's busy life!
So........

Meet my family:

This is me and with my partner in crime-

And this is our dog, Fletcher.

We are about to have an addition to our family. We are expecting twins in October! This blog will be our attempt at sharing our life with family and friends that won't be around to experience it themselves! I'm not exactly the crafty scrapbooking kind of girl, so this will also be an easy way to document this whole experience! So here goes......
