Cravings!

One difference in this pregnancy is that I have been super hungry. Maybe I was with the last go around but just don't remember. Either way, I am constantly snacking! I found a couple of pretty good options:
Loving this sparkling water:
No sodium, No artificial sweeteners, No calories
I usually serve it over crushed ice in a wine glass with a lime. It makes me feel special.

My friend Emily introduced me to this stuff!  Loving this popcorn! I'm a huge popcorn eater. My usual is Pop Secret Homestyle, but I'm loving this instead because there is "No artificial anything" and basically lists all the reasons why you should eat it on the back. Only 39 calories per cup.

This is my favorite brand of frozen Edamame. It is an individual size and is around 100 calories with 9 grams of protein. My girls love it as well!

Sadie and Sophie's new fave :
My MIL introduced us to Silk Almond milk.  The girls love the individual sizes.

And I have to post this new recipe that I tried out this week! Lynn and I loved this little sweetness:

No Bake Energy Bites:

No-Bake Energy Bites

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes
Yield: About 3 dozen

Ingredients

Method

Stir all ingredients together in a medium bowl until thoroughly mixed. Cover and let chill in the refrigerator for half an hour.
Once chilled, roll into balls of whatever size you would like. (Mine were about 1" in diameter.) Store in an airtight container and keep refrigerated for up to 1 week.
Makes about 20-25 balls.

Try these! They are awesome!

Wonderful Easter Weekend!

We had a big Easter weekend jammed packed full! The Easter Bunny stopped by our house Saturday morning instead of Sunday.... I wrote him a little note and asked if he could help make my life easier this year. Getting our family ready and out the door for church is enough for one Sunday morning. Couldn't handle adding chocolate covered fingers to that chaos.

After we celebrated at our house, we left for the golf course for a pancake brunch with the Easter Bunny and an egg hunt.

In their pretty Easter dresses!

Happy Easter! We had so much fun hunting eggs, eating candy, and being with family. Easter weekend 2014 is over, but the most important part of the celebration lives on!! HE AROSE! The tomb was empty! Hallelujah!

It's a Boy!!

We are so excited to announce that we will be adding a sweet baby boy to our family in August!

Can you even believe technology?? You can already see his little face! So sweet! We have a lot to do
around our house before August to get ready for a  boy. We love lots of pink and no blue!

Sadie and Sophie have been so excited about Easter this year. I feel like we have been hiding Easter eggs since Christmas! Over the weekend, my mom and I took the girls to see the Easter Bunny.

Sadie with Mother                  Sophie loving her cookie!

They were very interested in him....They just didn't want to sit in his lap. Both girls gave him a high five before we left and neither one shed any tears. I'm calling it a success! It's a big step from Santa Claus.

I love this picture! Nona came to play last week and Sophie wanted my mom to wrap her up like a burrito and hold her. Such "lap babies"!

This picture made me laugh.... Sadie loves her baby dolls and stuffed animals. They are taking over our house!

Working On A Full House!

So excited that we will be adding one more bambino to our family! We will find out the gender tomorrow. Can't wait to know! I'm not sure that S&S understand what's going on, but they have definitely noticed a difference in my figure and love to "pat" the baby bump. They love their "bebe" dolls so much that I have no doubt they will love being big sisters. We went for lunch today, and I can't believe how big the girls have gotten! It seems like yesterday that I had to pull out the "limo" stroller to go anywhere with them. At 2 1/2, life has already gotten so much easier... still a struggle at times but so much easier.

I must say, potty training has been a little tricky with two, but at least they have the idea.

I'm not sure that the Adora baby dolls in the picture will be around much longer. As you can see, they go everywhere the girls go. Pretty sure they might have a few cooties.
So, as I change out my diaper bag for my potty training bag, I did a little research and apparently this  travel potty is pretty popular to use if you're out-and-about. I can't wait to get his because I hate public restrooms. Also, I ordered these car seat piddle pads for accidents in the car.  I have several friends who are potty training so I thought that I would share the info! Wish us luck!
