Loving Fall!

Can't believe that it's time for the leaves to fall!

 

Two 2 Year olds

Matthew 11:28 says, "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

After listening to a speaker at my Bible study a few weeks ago, I have had that verse in the back of my mind. I should actually tattoo it onto my arm so that I don't lose sight. Two 2 year olds can definitely make you want to remember that every day! I will have to say though... 2 is proving to be my favorite!

At 2 years old:

 Sophie is a little clown. She likes to "cheese" for the camera, meet new friends and aggravate her sister Sadie. Her spunky personality is so cute, but sometimes gets her in "time-out".

Sadie is a sweetheart. She loves to dress up and play with her "bebe" dolls. She is totally content playing all by herself. Even though she isn't technically the "big sister", you would think that she is the way that she takes care of Sophie.

Isn't it amazing how two year olds can get into a locked cabinet, lock a bedroom door, pull out everything in a drawer, ruin a new tube of lipstick, dump out a whole cup of milk, delete apps on your cell phone, drop goldfish on the floor and stomp them until the crumbs are everywhere....... and just run a mama ragged. Yet, they still look so stinking cute doing it!

 Here are a few pictures from the past few weeks.

 Halloween has come and gone again this year, and I can't believe it! We got one more wear out of the poodle dog and the black cat costumes. It's funny how they really liked their costumes this year as opposed to last year!

Happy Birthday S & S!!

We celebrated with our friend, Moody, who celebrates a birthday on the same day. We invited a few friends and had cupcakes at the farm area.

     On Sunday we had an ice cream social for our family and a few close friends.

Birthdays!

We celebrated Lynn's 32nd birthday last week! It ended up being a week long celebration, but somehow I only managed to end up with pictures of the girls. 😳 However I think he understands. 😉

Our sweet friends David and Sarah treated us to dinner.... With all of the children. Luckily we had dinner at their country club so they knew everyone there. Hopefully we weren't too much of a distraction.

We, of course, celebrated with family one night and a casual dinner with friends another. It was a fun week. Now to get ready for the girls' birthday party. Word to the wise- try not to have children the same month as your spouses birthday. Needless to say - it's a big month!

1st Week of School!

Today was the girls' second day of Mother's Day Out....

 

 

We have been trying to enjoy that last few weeks of summer

We have so enjoyed long days and warm weather. The water table that I bought from Costco for $40 was a hit. I'm pretty sure that we played with it every day for the past two months. I'm sad to know that we only have a few weeks of eating popsicles and hanging out in our bathing suits... Good thing football season is only a few days away!
